WEH® TW18 | Product BenefitsThe WEH® TW18 is ideally suited for pneumatic and hydraulic pressure tests and functions tests on externally threaded components, i.e. engines, cylinders, pressure vessels, hoses, fittings, etc. The higher the test pressure, the tighter the WEH® Connector will clamp itself onto the thread of the test piece and provides a pressure-tight connection in seconds.

WEH® TW18H | Function - Lever actuationThe WEH® TW18H Quick Coupler is easy to use. Actuate the lever and place the connector onto the thread of the test piece. The clamping jaws grip onto the thread and a pressure-tight connection is made. Testing can now proceed.

WEH® TW18 | Actuation PossibilitiesThe WEH® TW18 Quick Connector is designed for sealing standardized external thread applications. The TW18 quick connector is available with different actuations. The actuation can be easily changed at any time by simply unscrewing the rear part of the connector and replacing it with the chosen actuation. The following actuations are available: Manually with hand lever, pneumatically with valve head and pneumatically for external manual, semi or fully automatic control systems. Therefore, the TW18 is ideally suited for use in automated systems for high-volume testing during production. Special versions, e.g. connectors in longer or shorter versions, as a plug or with hydraulic actuation etc. are possible.
The WEH® TW18H connector is the perfect tool for pressure, function and vacuum testing during production and rated for pressures up to max. 350 bar. The safe and pressure-tight connection to standardised male threads is established in just seconds – without tedious hand tightening.
No additional thread sealants are required, time-consuming and expensive clamping and testing devices are eliminated. The manual actuation via hand lever is child's play. Only actuate the hand lever and place the TW18H loosely onto the test piece. On frequent connection and disconnection considerable time and cost savings are achieved.
The higher the test pressure, the tighter the WEH® Connector will clamp itself onto the test piece port thus providing added safety for operators.
The quick connector is available for low pressure up to 50 bar and high pressure up to 350 bar. For automated applications with pneumatic actuation we offer the TW18V with valve button and the TW18P for fully automatic control systems.
